Hurricane Ida caused huge destruction to the homes, businesses, and communities of our countrymen and women in Louisiana. Devastating wind and extreme flooding have left many without power, running water, or even shelter. So let’s do what we always do. Let’s roll up our sleeves and lend them a hand. News Talk 1290 KOIL is teaming up with the Omaha Storm Chasers, Union Omaha, and Werner Enterprises to collect essential materials that the people of Louisiana need right now. September 11th through the 19th at Werner Park, you can drop off your donations of these needed goods to help Louisianans begin their recovery. It’s time to show our gratitude. Invite for your family and friends to help too. With everyone’s assistance, the road to recovery for Louisiana will be a little easier to travel.
