An early season series win for Nebraska baseball.

NU (4-3) topped Grand Canyon (5-3) 10-8 Sunday afternoon in Phoenix, Arizona.

Caleb Clark got the start on the mound, giving up four earned runs over 4.0 innings of work. Clark was pulled in the fifth inning as the Antelopes came back from down 8-3 to tied the game.

But the Huskers plated a pair of runs in the eighth to leave the desert with a series win.

Seven Huskers had hits on the day, with Cole Evans leading the way with a pair of RBI on his two hits.

Nebraska stays on the road again next weekend, heading to the College of Charleston in South Carolina for a four game series.
