Multiple Nebraska women’s basketball players were honored with Big Ten Conference yearly awards Tuesday.
For the first time in her career, Alexis Markowski was named to the All-Big Ten First Team. Markowski was voted there by both the league coaches and media. She was Second Team the past two seasons.
Jaz Shelley earned All-Big Ten Second Team honors for the second time at Nebraska (2022). She was First Team last season.
Natalie Potts had a dynamic freshman season in Lincoln, landing her with the All-Big Ten Freshman of the Year award from the league’s coaches. She was also All-Big Ten Honorable Mention from the media and on the All-Big Ten Freshman team.
Logan Nissley joined Potts on the All-Freshman team.
