Nebraska defensive lineman Keona Davis announced he’s pulling his name from the transfer portal and will return to the Huskers. A post on X Wednesday afternoon announced that Davis was coming back to the Big Red after initially announcing he was sampling the portal. In his freshman season this year, he made nine tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. He stems a tide of departures for Nebraska’s defensive linemen and linebackers that alarmed many after the departures of defensive coordinator Tony White and defensive line coach Terrance Knighton to Florida State. Davis has three years of eligibility remaining.
