Nebraska softball filled one of two open spots in the lineup for 2026 as UNLV catcher Jesse Farrell signed with the Cornhuskers from the transfer portal.
A career .338 hitter with 19 home runs and 74 RBI, Farrell hit .318 with eight homers and 28 RBI for the Rebels as a sophomore, grabbing second-team all-Mountain West honors. She added 14 doubles and two triples with 23 walks. As a freshman in 2024, Farrell earned All-West Region second-team.
A Henderson, Nev., native, Farrell played high school ball at Liberty High School and club ball for the Corona Angels.
