Only the weather can slow down Nebraska baseball and softball teams. Both the No. 24 baseball Cornhuskers and the No. 8 softball Huskers were scheduled to play at home Friday night, but both teams’ Big Ten series openers were postponed to Saturday doubleheaders. Nebraska baseball will now begin its three-game series with Penn State at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hawks Field, while Nebraska softball will open its three-game series against Rutgers with a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Bowlin Stadium.
Nebraska baseball has won 18 of its last 19 games, while Nebraska softball has won 16 of its last 17. Coverage of Husker baseball will begin on KLIN Saturday at 1:30 p.m., while Husker softball can be heard on B-107.3 beginning with pregame coverage at 12:45 p.m. Saturday.
