Indonesia: 7.7-magnitude earthquake hits off northern coast of Flores region

A massive magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck off the northern coast of Indonesia’s Flores region in the early hours of Saturday morning local time, or Friday evening depending on the location, sending shockwaves through East Nusa Tenggara province and triggering tsunami warnings across nearby coastal areas.
