Nebraska also outrebounded LeMoyne, 40-29, and outscored them in the paint, 40-22.
The Huskers started the game on a 7-0 run, but a later 7-0 run by the Dolphins gave them a short lived 12-10 lead with 15:49 to go until halftime. The Dolphins tied the game at 17 with 12:43 to go in the first half, but a 12-0 run by Nebraska opened a 29-17 lead with 8:42 to go until halftime. LeMoyne never again was closer than nine points, and an 11-0 Huskers run to close the half sent NU to the locker room at intermission leading, 58-32. The Dolphins were never closer than 24 points in the second half, and Nebraska held them without a field goal for the final 5 minutes, 56 seconds of the game.
