We all have something we’re insecure about so that’s why we’re not casting any judgment. However, celebrities tend to wield their power on sets to make their insecurities disappear.
Tom Cruise is a fairly short man at about 5′ 7″ tall (without his platform shoes) and there’s nothing wrong with that especially in the movie business where everything tricks the eyes and ‘magic’ is created on screen.
But Tom Cruise may have a little (no pun intended) Napoleon Complex going on as he has refused to let any of his co-stars ever run next to him. Tom has some hardcore running abilities, so maybe he doesn’t want someone stealing the limelight from his skillz, or maybe he doesn’t want to see what Henry Cavill running next to him at 6′ 1″ tall.
This is an odd demand for a celebrity, and you would think that after blockbuster after blockbuster and critically acclaimed performances in so many classic movies Tom Cruise wouldn’t need to feed his ego…but hey, I guess the stars are just like us.
