Jameela Jamil is poking fun at rumors that she’s quarantining with her “best friend” Meghan Markle. The star has taken to Twitter to have a laugh over the tabloid “Daily Express’” article about Meghan benign Jameela’s new bestie.
Jamil’s not only debunking the theory that she’s shacking up at Meghan and Prince Harry’s new place in Montecito – she’s denying they’re friends at all. Noting she’s only “met this woman once,” Jamil is making it clear it’s nothing against Meghan… she has a problem with the British press, taking to Twitter to slam their “8 days of articles with increasingly ridiculous stories” about her and Meghan’s supposed friendship.
“These articles are a strategy to now blame her for MY every word and move,” she writes. “As the conversation around racism in UK media is heating up, they are scrambling to justify years of racially motivated abuse/harassment by turning the public against her based on lies and rumors.” Check out the tweets below.
