Nebraska falls at Rutgers

Nebraska women’s basketball couldn’t overcome 19 turnovers in a 78-62 loss at Rutgers Sunday.

The Scarlet Knights scored 19 points off of those turnovers. The halftime score was 32-22 in favor of the home team, thanks to better than 50 percent shooting and six made 3s.

Sam Haiby paced the Huskers with 20 points. Annika Stewart (12) and Ashley Scoggins (10) both reached double digit scoring.

As a team, Nebraska shot 42 percent for the game, and made 9-of-18 3s.

The Huskers are home Wednesday hosting Iowa.
