Minn.: 55-year-old man who sprayed Rep. Omar with ‘unknown liquid’ during town hall meeting arrested for assault

During a town hall in Minneapolis on Tuesday, Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar was interrupted when a man leaped from the audience, charged toward the stage, and sprayed her with an “unknown liquid” from a syringe. Security and attendees quickly tackled him, and he was arrested on the spot.
