Mich.: Suspect dead and security guard injured following reports of fire, active shooter situation at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield

According to Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard, the synagogue’s lead security guard was hit by the car driven by the suspect but is expected to recover and survive after being taken to a local hospital. He added that it’s still unclear if there were explosives in the vehicle, though “something” ignited following the crash.
