Democrat Sen. Murphy introduces bill to more than triple federal minimum wage to $25 an hour

In a legislative push, Connecticut Democrat Senator Chris Murphy announced the introduction of The Living Wage For All Act. The bicameral legislation seeks to more than triple the federal minimum wage to $25 an hour. Congress last raised the wage floor to $7.25 in 2009.
